Artico Cold Chain formally received two International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications, ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems, on September 16, 2026, marking another milestone in its commitment to operational excellence and sustainable practices through an Integrated Management System.

 

The certifications recognize Artico’s established systems and processes for maintaining service quality, improving operational efficiency, managing environmental impacts, and promoting continual improvement across its cold storage operations. Under ISO 9001:2015, the company demonstrates its focus on maintaining reliable processes, meeting customer requirements, and continually improving the quality and efficiency of its services. Simultaneously, the ISO 14001:2015 standard validates Artico’s structured approach to responsible resource consumption, environmental stewardship, and sustainable operations.

 

The certifications complement Artico’s ongoing sustainability initiatives across its cold storage facilities. These include measures to improve energy and water efficiency, increase the use of renewable energy, and strengthen responsible refrigerant management.

 

The ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications cover Artico’s seven cold storage facilities across six strategic locations in the Philippines. These include two facilities in Biñan, Laguna, as well as facilities in Santo Tomas, Batangas; Mabalacat, Pampanga; Urdaneta, Pangasinan; Santa Barbara, Iloilo; and Mandaue, Cebu.
