Lemcon (Philippines) Inc. signs with Ayalaland Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) as a lessee in ALogis Biñan within Laguna Technopark. The asset management solutions company will take up 17,000 sqm of gross leasable space or 10 units of ready-built facilities for exclusive storage of infrastructure equipment for a telecommunications company. Laguna Technopark expects an increase of employment by 160 workers in the area after the completion of the company’s relocation.

ALogis Biñan is Lemcon Philippines’ newest business address as it expands its services nationwide. Turnover began earlier this month with Lemcon currently preparing the facilities for its workshops and warehouse space. With an initial 11,000 sqm, its operations are targeted to commence by April 2021, and turnover of the remaining 6,000 sqm of the ready-built facilities is expected to be completed by July 2021.

The ceremonial contract signing held in Seda Nuvali was led by ALLHC Head of ALogis Bianca S. Tan, ALLHC Head of Industrial Parks and Real Estate Logistics and Laguna Technopark, Inc. President Patrick C. Avila, ALLHC President and CEO Maria Rowena M. Tomeldan, Lemcon Philippines Vice President – Finance Harsyl R. Tan, and Lemcon Philippines Vice President – Operations Leah Regina DC. Castor.

“In our pursuit for excellence and client satisfaction, we needed to upgrade our warehouse facilities. Hence, we chose ALogis Biñan. A bright warehouse space, the facilities are located within an ideal industrial estate, with outstanding utilities and convenient access to major transport routes. Complemented with a clear and fair contract, we’re convinced that the move to ALogis Biñan in Laguna Technopark will be helpful for our sales organization and other long-term objectives,” shared Harsyl R. Tan, Vice President of Finance at Lemcon (Philippines) Inc.

“We’re truly grateful of Lemcon Philippines’ trust in our commitment to provide logistics facilities that make doing business easier and more convenient. Given their space take-up, we are pleased to consider them as one of ALLHC’s anchor lessees. We look forward to creating long-term synergies with Lemcon Philippines in the years to come,” muses Patrick C. Avila, ALLHC Head of Industrial Parks and Real Estate Logistics.

“With Lemcon Philippines’ expansion, our goal of providing more job opportunities and spurring economic activity in South Luzon is further realized. We also take pride in this connection with Lemcon Philippines as this supports the current need to improve network infrastructure across the country. We are glad to be of service to assist in this nationwide thrust,” explains Maria Rowena M. Tomeldan, President and CEO of AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp.

Apart from ALogis Biñan, other ALogis sites are located in Naic, Porac, Calamba, and Manila, contributing over 200,000 sqm of leasable industrial space. Expansion is currently ongoing at ALogis Naic, which broke ground earlier this 2021.

At present, ALLHC owns and manages Laguna Technopark, Cavite Technopark, and Pampanga Technopark in Luzon, and Laguindingan Technopark in Mindanao. Other developments include commercial properties, Tutuban Center in Manila and South Park Center in Muntinlupa.
