South Park Center is an all-in-one multi-service hub for consumer essentials and government service centers.

If there is one takeaway from the past year and a half, it would be the value of time. It doesn’t stop—it continues to tick and tests everyone to spend it efficiently. The new normal demands a new level of convenience marked by a “no fuss” experience. Such expectation is met by South Park Center, a multi-service hub for consumer essentials and government service centers at the heart of Muntinlupa city.

“South Park Center has evolved from being a shopping mall to becoming a mixed-use complex aimed to serve the Filipino’s varying needs. Through partnerships with local government units in line with Alagang AyalaLand community engagement initiatives, we were able to provide more relevant services that equip people to thrive in the new normal,” says Jessica O. Santos, AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corporation (ALLHC) Head of Commercial Leasing.

As a Safety Seal recipient, the hub faithfully adheres to the minimum public health standards required by the government. Both employees and visitors are expected to comply with safety protocols including social distancing and wearing of face shields and masks within the premises.

One venue, multiple services

Located along National Road in Barangay Alabang, South Park Center is an easily-accessible venue for many South-based residents, as well as visitors from farther cities. Public transportation including city and provincial bound buses, jeepneys, and railways all converge at this staple destination.

The multi-service hub currently stands as Muntinlupa’s mega vaccination site, which is administered by the City of Muntinlupa through its COVID-19 vaccination program, MunCoVac.

Alternately, South Park Center is also operating saliva RT-PCR testing sites in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross. Secured with the approval of the Department of Health, this method is non-invasive and guarantees a quicker turnaround time of 24 hours at a cheaper rate of Php 1,500 compared to the traditional nasal swab procedure.

Third on the list is the Philippine Statistics Authority’s PhilSys Step 2 National ID registration site. In accordance to the Republic Act No. 11055, or the Philippine Identification System Act, the process aims to establish a central identification platform for all Filipino citizens and resident aliens of the Philippines.

In addition to all these present services, more government service centers are set to station at South Park Center by the end of 2021. In collaboration with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Filipinos residing and working in the area will soon be able to access PRC frontline services such as Application for Examination, Initial Registration, Renewal of Professional Identification Cards, and Certifications of Board Rating and Passing, among many.

A “no fuss” lifestyle

Aside from government services, South Park Center provides consumer essentials through Robinsons Supermarketercury Drug, PNB (Philippine National Bank), Medline Dialysis Center, Western Union, M. Lhuillier, Cebuana Lhuillier, and Tony & Jackey Salon. Given the close proximity between the various sites, one can easily schedule their vaccination, testing, and other government requirements with their personal errands all in one day. What’s more, the multi-service hub also houses the Bureau of Internal Revenue (RDO 53B) and the Local Civil Registry. Ultimately, the establishment stands as a vital destination for hundreds of people by providing services for their weekly and long-term needs both as customers and as Filipino citizens.

“We have been partners with the City Government of Muntinlupa since day one. From the establishment of the government offices of PSA, Local Civil Registry, and COMELEC here in South Park Center, to converting our activity center as a mega vaccination site to help the city in its vaccination efforts, we continuously support the local government in their projects and initiatives that benefit the citizens of Muntinlupa,” shares Rowena M. Tomeldan, ALLHC President and CEO.

Situated within South Park District estate, one of Ayala Land’s estate developments located in Alabang, South Park Center is a mixed-use development with a total gross leasable area of 58,000 sqm for banks, supermarkets, clinics, offices, BPO spaces, and other uses. Avida Towers Altura, a two-tower residential building, also stands alongside South Park Center. Currently, South Park Center is being repurposed to also include more storage spaces, warehouses, and office hubs.
